Hello everybody, it’s fucking 3.25AM in the morning and I’m still up, blogging away. *SLAPS DUST OFF MY BLOG AND SNEEZES*

You know, I really can’t stand people who post on their blog mentioning about people yet not specifying exactly who, so as to allow readers to let their imaginations run wild and/or assume that he/she is the one they are talking about, thus causing misunderstandings. Maybe it’s just me who can’t stand this shit. But one thing I know for sure, that this is all for attention. Attention. And attention.

Attention seekers. Especially those in my class – OMG let’s talk about other things.

Currently I have been late for almost all of the first classes of the day. But it’s fine as long as I put in a little bit of effort in my assignments. I don’t like to whine on facebook complaining about assignments and no time and/or can’t think of anything for it. If you have the time to actually use Facebook, YOU HAVE THE FUCKING TIME TO DO YOUR WORK. The word is FOCUS.

Some people asked me whether if I could werk five days a week and not feel tired. Actually the only time when I feel tired is when my eyes are dry – thanks to bloody contact lenses. Other than that – I’m fine. Werk is fun. Peeps there are fun. Most. The management team aint evil; Bernado is funny, Eunice is CUTE, Sufang is actually quite nice SO LONG YOU DON’T PISS HER OFF, Ryan is strict but I guess I can understand. The pay sucks though. Seriously. Just that this part-time job has very flexible werking hours, and it’s pretty close to my school.

Just returned from a jamming session at Prinsep Street. The drums in the black room wasn’t too good; the hi-hat sounded horrendous and one of the cymbals had a crack so that it sounded like a ccccccchiang instead of – ok never mind, its kinda hard to explain in text. WE’RE PLANNING TO PLAY GREEN-TINTED SIXTIES MIND BY MR. BIG SOON. And we still don’t have a name for our band. And Brian’s pickup is still on its way from the States, so we have to stay as a four-piece band. (Not that we couldn’t; we have been playing as a four-piece since… whatever. Damn long ago.)

DEAD HANDS

Blogging with my numb fingers. Seriously numb. From the static training just now. YEAH PUSH-UPS! Seriously SPCT (Singapore Polytechnic Canoe Team) should change their name to TSC (Tekan Session Club), cuz their training is like, pure tekan. Still I ain’t quitting. Not yet.

Yeah that was my dinner. 12am. Jerena was like wah, so late? when I told her. Thats how late you can have your dinner when your canoe training, which starts at 5.30pm, ends at 10pm. Quick shower in school, buying of drinks, walking to the train station: 20mins. Train to woodlands: 45mins – 50mins. ROUTE MARCH from interchange to home (with a kickass 7.5kg bag) 20 – 30mins. Shower, et cetera: 15 – 20mins. 

Still gotta do the write-up for OOPM. Cruciating pain in the ass.

AND I STILL LOVE SKID ROW. ROCK AND ROW!!!!!!!

Sundown Marathon 2009

I think my timing was around 7 hours plus. We ran for the first 10km, then rested awhile to stretch, and continued to run for about 8km. Then we walked for almost the rest of the marathon. Partly because Gerald’s right knee had old injuries acting up, and also partly cuz my calf muscles are threatening to get cramped whenever I try to run. I guess my body’s not used to long distance runs yet. For every km we walked it seemed like years to us. But there were quite alot of pretty girls around though. Overall its still a good experience to me, and I look forward to the next Sundown. (Standard Chartered’s in the morning-afternoon, weather’s too hot. And you have to wake up early. Like 4am. Or maybe earlier.)

So I got home at about 11am. And slept. Till 3am. And woke up to work on my OOPM project. Programming module. Motherfuckin’ Cocksuckin’ Programmin’. (I hate prgramming, but I think the teacher’s good.) So I did a scrappy piece of work. Look, there’s only this much that I can do when I have this much knowledge and interest in this module. 

AND THEN I WENT TO PLAY GRAND THEFT AUTO: SAN ANDREAS – MULTIPLAYAAAAAAAAAAAAA 

PUSH-UP FIEEEEEEEEEESTAAARRR

So we did an obscene amount of push-ups during canoe training. More than I ever did during a single PT session when I was in service. (Okay I’m actually still in NS, but.) Mentality training? Maybe, but it’s kinda tiring. And annoying. And there’s the second and third year people CRAWLING around telling you “butts up” and shit. Yeah, it IS annoying.

But, good training nevertheless.

This week’s schedule is pretty hectic for me. School assignments, canoe training, school assignments, driving lessons, school assignments, drawings, learning of new songs, Sundown marathon, jamming sessions, and lastly but not the least, school assignments.

Oh and did I ever mentioned that I … don’t exactly adore overly-attention-seeking people and poseurs. Not pin-pointing anyone here, just expressing.

SP Canoe

Decided I couldn’t afford scuba diving after all, so I was considering canoe or dragonboat. Chose canoe, cuz Nick and Manyong are joining up to.

Tuesdays are statics and strength training, thursdays are circuit training, saturdays are canoe polo/sprint training. Saturdays would definitely niggarise me… I don’t really like being too tanned, but ah fuck it.

So basically its like, back to chin-ups, push-ups, whatever. Wish I could say im used to it, but I haven’t been maintaining physical fitness ever since I achieved gold in the first IPPT test of the second year of service. Not for chin-ups at least. So yeah.

Vincent joined my band!! That’s good news, cuz he’s not a bad guitarist himself and he’s a fun guy to hang out with. Had our first jam session with him yesterday night at Prinsep Street and it wasn’t too bad; Dani California was good. It was also our first jam at that jamming studio, though the room is slightly small but it has a cosy feel to it. And I particularly like the sound of the bass drum in the room we played in. And its close to LAN shops, CAN PLAY L4D AFTER JAM!!!!! ARGASHKARUGASHKA-EEYARU Provided I don’t have anything on the next day.

P.S: I saw a cute girl in the canoe club!! My type…. I think.
